The way you articulate finding yourself, your voice. Its perfect.

I think young women, older women too, should read this like a manual on finding yourself. Its something I think all women need to learn how to do. Its not easy. You have to work to not only find but recognize what is the authentic you.

Congratulations.

It's so crazy how these realizations hit us. I felt like I didn't know what boundaries were, how to articulate it; now I'm talking about boundaries with people because it seems totally natural.

At age 70 (and before that I am sure) but now I am convinced that sex is a projection of the person we are. The way we treat our lover in that way shows how we love them. Are we thoughtful? Are we patient? Are we happy when THEY are happy and for that matter are they happy when we are? It is truly nothing but an extension of whom we are... that includes people who either refuse it or are over-indulgent and I do not criticize them, I understand them. I wish I knew at 20, some of what I know now, all I needed was a kind family with a guiding hand. It's all good. I get it. I believe that you do too and your mind is always searching.

Exactly, my beautiful friend... even I may easily have 30 more years as I still have a parent living. It is fun to back to whatever work of art we've make of ourselves and repaint.
